Refer A Friend, Get A Gift Card



All CRTC students now have a way to both help us recruit new students for the 2021-22 school year and pick up a coffee and a donut - on us. The new applicant referral program starting this week awards a Dunkin Donuts gift card for every student you persuade to apply to the CRTC.


The CRTC is hoping to recruit 450 new students for the next school year. But with COVID restrictions keeping us from holding traditional assemblies, program preview day and open house events, we need every student to think about recruiting a friend, classmate or family member to apply for next year’s program classes. And to sweeten the pot, so to speak, we’re offering a $4 Dunkin Donuts gift card for each freshman, sophomore or junior student you motivate to fill out an application.


You already know how the CRTC is helping you to explore your career interests and passions, so you have a good story to share with other students about what we offer and the doors we can open. Not only will you get a gift card if they apply, but you also will gain some satisfaction in knowing that you have helped to set someone else on a career pathway into their future.


Applying students will answer a question on the online application that asks if a current CRTC student motivated them to apply. If they put your name down, we will get in touch with you about your gift card. One gift card per applicant, but there are no limits on how many you can collect.

  April is Admissions Month at CRTC Over the past several weeks CRTC staff has had to make some pretty tough decisions as they’ve sifted through applications to determine the make up September’s Year I classes, and have carefully reviewed each first year student’s SPUR assessments to decide who would be invited back to complete their second year. Year I students and new applicants already should have received notification letters or emails that inform them of their status and provide instructions for next steps. Any student who has not yet received notification should talk to their CRTC teacher or call the CRTC office.   Meet Our Teachers:  Gail Beaudoin, Criminal Justice CRTC programs are a blend of rigorous academics and applied learning that provide students with the opportunity to explore their interests, talents and career ambitions. The lynchpin in these programs is the unique character of the CRTC teacher, who typically has years of industry experience before making the transition to the classroom.  The CRTC Criminal Justice teacher, Gail Beaudoin, has over three decades of law enforcement experience, including 11 years as a Criminal Bureau detective, and was the first female in the Chelmsford, MA, Police Department to attain the rank of Lieutenant. She holds a master’s degree in Criminal Justice from UMass, and spent 15 years as an adjunct professor in Criminal Justice at UMass, Lowell.   Meet Our Staff: Kathy Connor, CRTC Administrative Assistant The CRTC serves almost 700 students from nine regional school districts offering 11 career pathway programs. The CRTC’s two administrative assistants work to coordinate program funding, facilitate student transportation and liaison with parents, industry partners and sending school administrations.
